Adeena Bleich

Adeena has a unique combination of government, non-profit, and community leadership experience. Upon graduation from Pitzer College, Adeena worked as an educator and administrator at the American Jewish University. She was then inspired by the historic nature of the 2000 Presidential election and decided to pursue a career in politics. As a City Council Deputy, Adeena focused on helping constituents who had previously experienced trouble accessing city services and getting results.

 In 2005 Adeena left the council office to help run the mayoral campaign of former Speaker of the California Assembly Bob Hertzberg. After the Hertzberg campaign, Adeena worked briefly for Former Los Angeles Mayor Jim Hahn and for an educational non-Profit called New Schools Better Neighborhoods, which works to improve the quality of our public schools. Adeena also worked as the Los Angeles Director of AIPAC, where she managed the Los Angeles campaign and managed the Los Angeles team’s community outreach and education programs.

In 2009, with a strong belief in service and activism Adeena ran for Los Angeles City Council District 5 and placed 3rd out of 6 candidates in the primary.  Currently she is the Executive Director for an association management company where she manages a Surgical Education Foundation.

Adeena has a Masters in Organizational Management from Antioch University and she lives in Pico-Robertson with her husband, and like Margaret Mead she believes “that a small group of thoughtful and concerned citizens can change the world.”

Mary Cohen

Mary Cohen is the Public Relations Director for CivicCare and founder and President of Mary Cohen PR. With over a decade of experience providing strategic PR and outreach services, Mary has spearheaded and implemented successful campaigns for a diverse roster of clients in the health, environmental, financial and nonprofit sectors. Mary Cohen PR offers clients a range of services including public relations and public affairs, community outreach, social media, strategic planning and new business development. Clients include CivicCare, First 5 LA, Legal Aid Foundation of LA and Breathe Los Angeles.

Mary is an active member of her community, serving as Board Member at the Greenway Arts Alliance and past President of the Pressman Academy Early Childhood Center Parent Association. She is a founding board member of the Los Angeles Interfaith Environmental Council and the Renewables 100 Policy Institute. In 2004, she was awarded the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs Alumna of the Year Award for excellence in community service, professional achievement, public service and university service. She holds a BA in philosophy from the University of Michigan and a Masters in public policy from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.

Aryeh Goldberg

Aryeh Goldberg is a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting LLP where he leads the firm’s planning function and has advised senior executives of some of the world’s leading companies in the Technology, Real Estate and Insurance industries. Prior to joining Deloitte, Aryeh was the CFO of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Los Angeles.

Aryeh serves as the Treasurer of the Board for the Zimmer Children’s Museum and the Westside JCC. He is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish Future and is a founding advisor for PhilanthroProductions.

Aryeh lives in Beverlywood with his wife, Judy, and their three boys. Having grown up in Chicago, Aryeh was surprised when they wouldn’t let him vote a second time in the last LA election.

Rabbi Zalman Kravitz

Rabbi Zalman Kravitz is the Education Director for the Los Angeles Office of Jews for Judaism.

Rabbi  Zalman  teaches Jewish philosophy and counsels individuals who have been lured away from Judaism by other belief systems or through assimilation.

Rabbi Zalman founded the Be-True Student Leadership Program that engages thousand of Jewish high school and college students, runs and has been involved in educational programming in a verity of places throughout the United Stated, the former Soviet Union, and Israel.

Born in 1979 in Los Angeles, Rabbi Zalman Kravitz attended rabbinical seminaries in Miami Beach, Florida, New York and New Jersey. He received his rabbinical ordination from the former Sephardic Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu through the Rabbinical College of America.

Rabbi Zalman and his wife Chanie reside in Los Angeles with their daughters Aliza, Chava and Ita.

Scott Krieger

Scott Krieger is the Chief Operating Officer of The Arba Group for over 12 years and has been affiliated with them for over 20 years. The Arba Group is engaged in the development, construction, management and leasing for Commercial property. Scott has been involved in the business of real estate development and management in both New York and Los Angles since 1988.

During his spare time, Scott currently serves as a Board Member on the Beverlywood Homes Association. In the past, he has served on the Board of Young Israel of Century City, Yavneh Hebrew Academy and the South Robertson Neighborhood Council (SORO).

Scott still lives in Beverlywood with his wife Aviva and 4 children. Scott’s passion for politics comes from his father. His father served for over 12 years on the Garden Grove City Council.

Perla Muhlstein

Benny Rosenberg
Benny Rosenberg is co-owner of Diller Properties, a full service and family owned Real Estate Investment firm in Los Angeles. Before Diller Properties, Benny spent several years brokering commercial Real Estate deals, most notably at Marcus & Millichap’s West Los Angeles office.

An elected official serving on the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council in Los Angeles, Benny is also a Board Member at Yavneh Hebrew Academy in Hancock Park, and a Trustee at Yeshiva Gedolah of Los Angeles

Benny grew up in Los Angeles before attending Yeshiva University in New York, graduating in 2001 with a B.A. in Political Science. He currently lives in Hancock Park with his wife Shira, and his children Sophie, Enrique, and Carolina – all of whom are enthusiastic Miami Dolphins fans.

Maya Zutler Spinrad

Maya  is the Community and Government Affairs Coordinator for the J. Paul Getty Trust. She is tasked with establishing alliances with Elected Officers who represent the Getty Center and Getty Villa as well as key leaders in communities surrounding those institutions. She is also responsible for interfacing and maintaining relationships with all of the neighbors of the Getty Center and Villa. In addition to her work externally, Maya is also responsible for ensuring appropriate coordination of capital projects and construction activities across both institutions.
Maya is an active member of her community, involved with organizations such as Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, AIPAC, WAIPAC, and UCLA Hillel.
She holds a degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in Sociology. Go Bruins!
Maya lives in Los Angeles with her husband Gregory and their two boys.
